In a city ravaged by war, whilst society struggles to cope with the aftermath of the conflict, a young girl finds a unique way to survive. Home is the first short film to be shot in the city of Raqqa, the former capital of the Islamic State in Syria, following its liberation. The film reflects on the trauma of war through the powerful perspective of its young director, the Syrian filmmaker Sevinaz Evdike, who has experienced it first-hand.
