SINOPSIS
It is Christmas. A fir tree flies over Rome toward St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, suspended from a helicopter. Following this journey from the forest to the heart of the Christmas ritual, Victor Kossakovsky reveals the paradox of a tradition that celebrates life despite being built upon the death of trees. Between irony, wonder, and a growing sense of ecological urgency, the film delves into the plant kingdom to invite us to discover the intelligence and resilience of extraordinary beings that we rarely recognize as such.
